With over 30 years experience of noise and vibration studies in the state of Florida, few professionals bring the depth of experience and steady expertise that Dr. John M. MacDonald does. With more than three decades in the field, Dr. MacDonald has built a career on competence, determination and a commitment to solving complex environmental challenges and serving his clients.

He began his professional journey as an engineer with General Motors in the 1980s before moving into environmental field in the mid-1990s. Since then, his work has spanned everything from large-scale noise and vibration impact studies to air quality monitoring at major airports, water and soil compliance inspections, and radiation safety during disaster recovery efforts. 

 

Licensed as a Professional Engineer in Florida, Louisiana, and Texas, Dr. MacDonald also holds FEMA Disaster Official, HAZWOPER, Soil Sampling, and NPDES Inspector certifications. His expertise is supported by advanced technical skills, with proficiency in R, SQL, GIS, MATLAB/Octave, Python, C# and industry-standard environmental modeling tools.
